The original Titik was built in the early 1960's and was called Titik Inn. It consisted of a charming cluster of chalets built in the local Malay style, each with a small verandah. The Inn was run by the owners, Tunku Zaharah and Ahmad Brian Hughes and was popular with both locals and foreigners.

The re-imagination of Titik has created Casa Titik: built as a family home to accommodate the large family but is open to other guests as a homestay and bed and breakfast guest house. The villa is of Spanish design for a different ambience on the East Coast.

The villa is now run by the grand kids of Tunku Zaharah.
